About this Living Lab
- Local community
Our Living Lab focuses on bringing knowledge and competence to the local community, as well as getting the citizens to participate in the development of our municipality. This can happen in many different areas, for example within urban development and other public decision-making processes, career guidance, sustainable development, public health and general knowledge sharing. The common denominator for all the themes is sustainability, and we place particular emphasis on social sustainability.
- Workshops
Campus Kristiansund houses several facilities that enable interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation, and also technological solutions that enable the living lab to be largely digital. We aim for
arranging different workshops with both businesses, researchers and the
citizens. We want to arrange lectures for the citizens on different themes and
also use technology to invite the citizens to use.
- Increase citizen engagement
By establishing the citizens lab, we want to strengthen our overall work with citizen and user participation, encourage participation and service development, and give citizens a direct opportunity to contribute with ideas and solutions that benefit the local community.
