“School of Digital Growth” is a free online educational program offered by Riga TechGirls. The school is designed to introduce participants to various fields within information technology (IT), aiming to broaden their understanding of the sector and its opportunities.
Format: It consists of professionally recorded video lectures accessible online at any time, complemented by optional live online workshops.
Accessibility: Open to all individuals regardless of age, gender, or prior IT experience. The program is inclusive, featuring sign language interpretation to accommodate diverse participants.
Certification: Participants who complete the program by May 21, 2025, are eligible to receive a certificate, which is valued by employers.
The program explores various IT career paths and industry trends. Problem-solving methods used in IT project development are covered through Design Thinking. User experience and interface design principles are introduced in UX/UI Design. Strategies for managing IT products and projects effectively are discussed in IT Management. Development and operations practices within DevOps and IT Operations are explored. Data analysis for business decision-making is taught in Data Analytics. Basic programming concepts are introduced in Programming Fundamentals. The importance of cybersecurity in protecting digital information is emphasized. Applications of AI in everyday life are examined. The dynamics of tech startups are explored in Startup Culture.
